The polls for the election of district commissioner will be open at Station 1 from 5:30PM to 9:00PM on December 10th. All registered voters who reside within the district are encouraged to cast a ballot.
On January 30th @03:30 Stanford Heights was activated for a delta response medical with a report of a patient suffering from chest pain, firefighter/EMTS John Reynolds and David TenEyck responded to initiate patient care, Mohawk ambulance service paramedics arrived shortly after to take over care and transport to a local hospital. Both members stayed on scene to clear snow at the patients house to lessen the burden for the patient after they are discharged. It’s fine young volunteers like this that keeps SHFD running, strong work men!

Junior Firefighters will learn the basics of firefighting under close supervision, learn to be responsible young adults, leaders in their community and well-rounded individuals. On June 11th Stanford Heights fire department was dispatched to a working structure fire
Firefighters responded shortly before 9PM on Friday, October 23rd to a reported structure fire on Curry Road.
During the month of October Stanford Heights Firefighters, participated in community outreach both at Veeder Elementary and our own Morris Road Fire Station.
